Core making starter kit-Sand and sodium silicate

For those of you wishing to start making core to enhance your casting skills we have put together a kit of:

1. 5 Kg of silica sand
2. 250ml sodium silicate

When mixed in the ratio of 100g sand to 1.5 to 2g of sodium silicate mixed thoroughly, it can be hardened by passing CO2 gas through it to create the desired core shapes.
