Furnace lid lift off hook

This is a 600mm long rod with a hook on one end and aroud eye handle on the other, It saves you getting to close to the heat when removing the furnace lid.
The other advantage is that less bending is involved.
Always place the lid on a dry refractory brick, never place it directly on the floor as this can cause a stem explosion.
